Thomas Audley

Thomas Audley, 1st Baron Audley of Walden was an English barrister and judge who served as Lord Chancellor of England from 1533 to 1544.  He supported the Henry VIII’s annulment of marriage from Catherine of Aragon, the subsequent marriage and execution of with Anne Boleyn, and the marriage to Jane Seymour. He also aided in the dissolution of Henry’s marriage to Anne of Cleves following Seymour’s death.
